Questions and answers

The things people ask before their first order. Anything else, ask us.

How do I know a report is genuine?

Every report has a task number and a 12-character key. Enter both on the verify page. If they match a record in our database you will see the result exactly as we recorded it, along with the issued report and a photograph of the sample. If nothing matches, the document did not come from us.

What is the difference between a blind screen and a named test?

A blind screen identifies which compounds from a panel are present and quantifies each one, without you telling us what to expect. A named test quantifies a specific compound against the amount you state on the order. Blind screens are the right choice when you want an independent answer to "what is this?".

How much sample do you need?

One unopened vial for lyophilised products; at least 1 mL for oils and solutions; five units for tablets or capsules; around 100 mg for raw powders. Exact amounts are listed in the shipping instructions for your order.

How long does it take?

Most tests are reported within four to seven working days of the sample arriving. Sterility testing takes longer because it depends on an incubation period. Priority processing is available on most tests for an additional fee.

Do you accept samples from outside the UK?

Yes. The order confirmation includes packaging and customs guidance. You are responsible for making sure the sample can legally be shipped from your country.

Can I get a report changed?

No. Results are reported as measured. If you believe there was an error, contact us with the task number and we will review the analysis. Where a report is superseded, the original is marked as withdrawn and the replacement is issued with a new key.

How do I pay?

By card or UK bank transfer once your order is confirmed. Business clients can request an invoice. No payment is taken on this website.
